Originating from the tropical regions of India, gymnema is a climbing plant with thick, shiny leaves which have been used in Ayurvedic medicine in India for around 2,000 years. In some countries it is known as the “sugar-destroying plant” since its leaves have the capacity to lower sugar levels in the blood.

Skincare benefits of Gymnema extract ( organic plant)

In cosmetics, gymnema (organic plant) extract is used for its energizing properties. It helps to stimulate and protect cytochrome c oxidase activity, contributing to the proper functioning of mitochondria. This powers the regeneration of ATP in cells, even when faced with various oxidizing stressors.
