Protecting the soil and biodiversity is a longstanding commitment at Clarins. That’s why we have always given priority to plant-based key ingredients sourced from organic agriculture, grown using sustainable farming methods that respect nature and the health of the soil. Our mitracarpus extract is organic and obtained using a natural and environmentally friendly extraction process. Because our commitment to responsible agriculture concerns both plants and the people who grow them, in 2016 Clarins implemented a fair trade supply chain in Burkina Faso in partnership with Jardins du Monde with the goal of equipping local health centers, and improving access to water for the local population.
